President Barack Obama held a working dinner with British Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House Thursday night, a week after Europe was shaken by terror in Paris.
The two leaders wrote a joint editorial this week in the Times of London newspaper, vowing a united front against Islamic extremists.
Britain has long been the closest ally of the United States in the fight against terrorism both in the West and in the Middle East.
White House officials say Obama and Cameron will meet Friday to discuss a range of issues including terrorism, Ebola and Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
