Police in eastern Ukraine say rocket fire has killed at least 10 people in the port city of Mariupol, just hours after the top rebel leader in the Donetsk region said there will be no further peace talks with Kyiv.
Reuters (new agency) quotes the police chief as saying rebels shelled a residential sector of the city.
