U.S. Secretary John Kerry says the U.S. and Britain are considering new sanctions on Russia and Syria over their continued military strikes in the city of Aleppo.
Kerry spoke after more talks on Syria in London Sunday with European allies.
He said a meeting Saturday in Switzerland with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, and several Middle Eastern countries a day earlier had produced “several ideas that need to be quickly followed up,” but he did not elaborate.
