European Union and NATO leaders are calling on Russia to stop supporting separatists in eastern Ukraine and to adhere to a mediated truce agreed to last week in Belarus. Despite the agreement, pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine attacked withdrawing government troops and took control of a key town in eastern Ukraine.
