If Poland wants to maintain the current pace of development, taking into account the current demographic trends, it needs to take in five million immigrants by 2050, the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers ( ZPP) said.
“Various forecasts – including the National Population Council – estimate that in order to maintain the current level of the economy by 2050, we need to adopt some five million emigrants,” – Jakub Bińkowski, analyst at ZPP said. The Association proposes an “urgent” legalizing permanent residence of all Ukrainians, the Vietnamese and the Belarusians in Poland, a total of one million people.
