The beginning of the 21st century was a golden era for Polish exports to Russia and Ukraine. In 2013, Poland exported goods worth €8.1 billion to Russia, a 6.1 percent increase in comparison with the previous year. Between 2000 and 2012 Poland’s exports to the Russian Federation increased tenfold in terms of value.
