Conflicts and violence across the world have increased the number of people forced to leave their homes to the record 60 million on a global scale, as reported by the UN.
The number of people going away from their homes has increased by 8,3 million since 2013, marking the biggest increase in history, according to a recent UNHCR global trends report, entitled ”World at War”.
The data revealed the fact that the majority of refugees across the world are children, as the conflicts in Syria and Iraq have caused 15 million people to flee from their homes over the past several years.
